With approximately 1,000 births annually, FMH serves as the only community hospital for more than 350 miles, providing crucial support to Alaska residents including Alaska Native communities and nearby military installations. This role involves close collaboration with local obstetricians to ensure consistent, experienced care for every expectant mother who enters our facility.
