This position functions in a support capacity for automated technology systems related to pharmacy distribution. This includes implementation, monitoring, analysis, troubleshooting and maintenance of the automated dispensing systems and computer software. Serves as the liaison between the pharmacy and nursing with regard to automated distribution systems. This position will work under the supervision of the pharmacist, has acquired advanced skills in pharmacy and has mastered all assigned tasks and categories of work in multiple areas and functions demonstrating the utmost competency and ability to lead. Will facilitate and participate in the training of pharmacy technician apprentices, dispensing, preparation and/or specialist pharmacy technicians.
