The Opportunity:
This position will offer support for two clinics that work interdependently to ensure that patients are being provided with safe and effective pain relief treatments. This position will be responsible for managing an assortment of controlled substances and ensuring that they are being dosed appropriately and used safely. Tackle new challenges as you sort through complex healthcare and provide a full range of patient services. Our Pain Treatment Clinic provides the latest outpatient treatments for various pain-related symptoms. Our newly renovated outpatient procedure suite has state-of-the-art equipment which allows us to treat a full range of patients who suffer from cancer-related pain to complex regional pain and anything in between. As part of a larger health system, we benefit from hospital resources and services, including fluoroscopically guided injections, neurostimulation implantation technologies, and referrals to physical therapy and surgical and behavioral health services
Our Controlled Substance Clinic is responsible for managing our organization’s controlled substance policy and procedures and monitoring patients who are prescribed a controlled substance. This position will serve as the clinic’s expert on up-to-date prescribing policies and work with physicians to help mange this unique patient population.

Fairbanks Memorial Hospital is looking for a full time Vascular Sonographer to join our Vascular team in Alaska's "Golden Heart City". Fairbanks, Alaska is located in the interior of the state where you can find adventure, culture, solitude or scenery. Preferred candidates will have 2 years of experience and national certification as a RVT with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or RVS with the Cardiovascular Credentialing International. This position performs prescribed procedures in accordance with department/facility policies, procedures and protocols. This position ensures optimal care/treatment to patient population.

The Hospice RN Case Manager is a vital member of the interdisciplinary team who work together to meet the physical, medical, psychosocial, emotional, and spiritual needs of hospice patients and families facing terminal illness and bereavement. The Hospice RN Case Manager is designated to provide coordination of care, ensure continuous assessment of each patient and family’s needs and implementation of the interdisciplinary plan of care.
As a Hospice Registered Nurse Case Manager (RN), you will:
- Oversee the implementation and ongoing assessment of the patient’s plan of care alongside the spiritual care coordinator, social worker, hospice aide and medical director.
- Ensure an accurate evaluation and work to develop and implement a comprehensive care plan that addresses patient needs.
- Communicate patient conditions, collaborate with appropriate providers, and team members, to deliver care as patient needs evolve.

History of Hospice in Fairbanks
In 1988 a volunteer-based hospice was started in Fairbanks known as Hospice of the Tanana Valley.
In 2012 Hospice of the Tanana Valley merged with Fairbanks Memorial Hospital to become a medically based hospice. Our Hospice covers a 26-mile radius in the Fairbanks North Star borough. Most hospice patients are cared for in their own homes or the homes of a loved one. Home may also be broadly construed to include services provided in nursing or assisted living facilities, wherever the patient considers to be home.
Position available:
Monday-Friday (5) 8hr days or (4) 10hr days. Share of on-call expected, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Qualifications:
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Licensure: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Alaska.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.
- One (1) year of professional experience practicing as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a hospice or similar setting preferred

While working in an acute care environment, this position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of acute patients. This position provides care in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice, utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under his/her direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data, plan, provide, and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.

This position is located in Fairbanks, Alaska and leads the strategic recruitment of physicians and advanced practice providers to meet community needs at the organization’s regional facilities. This includes the entire process from marketing, screening, interviewing site visits, contract negotiations and onboarding. Operationalizes and maintains compliance with all national laws and guidelines. The Opportunity:
This is an excellent opportunity for a Dermatology Physician to open and lead our new dermatology clinic at Foundation Health Partners, located in the heart of Alaska. - Schedule: 32 patient hours, 8 admin hours per week. 7 weeks ATO and 2 weeks for CME.
- Team: Position will be supported by a full-time APP and clinic administrative staff.

Assists physicians during diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, cardiac device implantations, and peripheral vascular procedures. Interventional radiology procedures as well as hybrid OR procedures. Monitors patient vital signs and hemodynamics during procedures and performs hemodynamic calculations when necessary. Documents pertinent procedure details as well as evaluation results, progress reports, treatment plans and other data using appropriate formats and systems.

This position functions in a support capacity in regards to compliance with USP 795/797/800 General Chapter. This includes room monitoring and cleaning, personnel training and testing, and required documentation.
