The goal of the Rehab Undergraduate Student Internship is to provide future rehabilitation services professionals the opportunity to expand their experience and knowledge of practices and procedures as they relate to physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech language pathology and associated areas of study. This position is temporary in length and will work under the direct supervision of a department manager or designee. This position selects and places surgical instruments, supplies and equipment during surgery. Scrubs and provides instruments, sutures, and other sterile supplies during surgical procedure. Participants in the training and orientation of surgical technology staff and students, as assigned.
