Foundation Health Partners is excited to open the application window for our 2026 Summer High School Internship Program, running from February 2nd to March 16th. This unpaid summer experience is designed for motivated high school students who are curious about the healthcare field and eager to build real‑world skills. Interns will be selected based on interest, readiness to learn, and commitment to participating fully in this immersive opportunity.
Each intern will be assigned to one primary department for the duration of the program, allowing them to develop meaningful connections with professional mentors and gain hands‑on exposure to daily work in a healthcare environment. The internship begins with a dedicated “bootcamp” week focused on essential soft skills—including communication, teamwork, professionalism, and workplace expectations—to ensure students feel confident and prepared before entering their assigned departments.
Throughout the summer, interns are also invited to attend weekly workshops that introduce a wide range of healthcare careers through hands‑on activities and demonstrations. These learning sessions provide a behind‑the‑scenes look at clinical and non‑clinical roles, offering students the chance to explore their interests, ask questions, and envision future career pathways. This internship is an excellent opportunity for any student considering a future in healthcare.
