Foundation Health Partners (FHP) is seeking a Radiation Oncologist to join our highly experienced team at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital.

The Opportunity:

The J. Michael Carroll Cancer Center at Foundation Health Partners is seeking a Radiation Oncologist to lead our radiation oncology service line in a well-supported, collaborative environment. As Interior Alaska’s only comprehensive cancer program, our center provides advanced, patient-centered care with modern treatment technology and a dedicated multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will work closely with an experienced Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner, oncology-certified nursing staff, and our broader medical oncology and surgical teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based radiation therapy to patients across the region. This is an opportunity to practice autonomously while contributing to a tight-knit, mission-driven program committed to expanding access and supporting patients through every step of their cancer journey.

  • Compensation: Competitive base salary with additional wRVU production bonuses. $65k sign-on bonus.
  • Schedule: Full-time, M-F. Mix of consultation/clinic time, treatment planning, chart rounds, and on-treatment assessments.
  • Patients: Manage a diverse caseload of oncology patients requiring external beam radiation therapy, including breast, lung, prostate, GI, head and neck, hematologic malignancies, and palliative cases. Patient Volume? I can get this from Jacque or Haley if they’re aware.
  • Team: 1 Radiation Oncologist (new hire will serve as the lead/solo physician), 1 Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner, oncology-certified nurses, oncology techs, and medical support specialists.
