The Opportunity:
Experience an exciting opportunity as an anesthesia physician at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital (FMH), where you can play a pivotal role in shaping healthcare delivery in Interior Alaska. In our model, CRNAs manage the majority of cases under physician guidance, fostering a collaborative environment that enables your participation in multiple procedures across various specialties. This approach ensures high-quality patient care while providing opportunities to expand your skill set in an engaging and stimulating work environment. As a 152- bed sole community hospital, FMH serves as a vital healthcare lifeline in Interior Alaska, offering a full scope of practice. However, you can expect to primarily perform bread-and-butter cases, without hearts or heads, and only healthy pediatrics.
