We’re looking for a compassionate and reliable ICU Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our exceptional care team at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. In this critical role, you'll provide routine patient care to promote comfort and support the patient's overall care plan. You'll also assist with ongoing patient data collection, documentation, and provide essential unit support functions that keep our ICU running smoothly and efficiently.

Deliver direct patient care, ensuring comfort and safety
Support nursing staff with clinical and operational tasks
Communicate effectively with the care team, patients, and families
What We’re Looking For:
Active CNA certification in the State of Alaska
Previous acute care experience preferred – ICU experience a plus
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Dependability and compassion in a fast-paced environment
Shift Schedule:
Full Time - (3) 12 hour shifts. Night Shift - eligible for $6.00/hr. differential
Part Time - (2) 12 hours shifts. Day Shift.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
Current BLS certification. Current C.N.A. license in state of practice may be required in certain facilities and/or departments in accordance with regulatory requirements or facility/department policy. Depending on department assignment, completion of unit approved basic electrocardiogram or electroencephalographic interpretation course or on the job training and a minimum passing score of 85% on ECG or EEG test, with accurate identification of all lethal cardiac dysrhythmias or epileptiform activity.
Requires skills and abilities typically attained with 1 year of medical clerical experience; preferably in a hospital or physician office setting, or prior experience in customer service. Must possess excellent organizational skills, as well as effective human relations and communication skills. Working knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy and keyboarding skills is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Recent healthcare experience preferred. Successful completion of an approved unit secretary program is preferred.
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
