Make your move to Alaska! Experience the midnight sun in the summer, a front-row seat to the northern lights in the winter, and the opportunity to advance your career as you broaden your scope of practice.
Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, a subsidiary of Foundation Health Partners, is actively recruiting an Inpatient Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our highly experienced team. As part of a rural health system, you will have the opportunity to manage aspects of care that might not be possible in larger settings, allowing you to round out your skills and expand your breadth of experience.
The Opportunity:
Join our team at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital's inpatient psychiatric unit, where you'll be part of a collegial, multidisciplinary group committed to patient-centered care. Currently an adult-only unit, we are excited to be expanding over the next year to include 4 adolescent rooms—the first of their kind in our region. As an NP, you'll work alongside another psychiatric nurse practitioner, two psychiatrists, case managers, and social workers in an environment that fosters professional growth and collaboration. You’ll experience a high degree of autonomy while managing a broad spectrum of patient care, practicing at the top of your scope with complex and varied cases. Our department recognizes the importance of spending extended time with patients to build trust and improve outcomes. Weekly case staffing sessions with community partners help us leverage local resources to provide exceptional care and support. Join us and be part of a team that values your expertise and dedication to making a meaningful impact on patient lives.
